We already have a web site, can we migrate?
Q. How do we migrate content and imagery from an existing
web site?
A. STS will migrate all data for you. We have web developers

many more), language conversion (PHP, ASP, JSP, and ColdFusion
to list a few), and general content and image migration.
Q. We already have an existing web site address (i.e. www.myschool.k12.mn.us),
can we keep this same web address?
A. Absolutely. We can setup a “redirect” which
automatically points everyone from your existing web address
to your new web site which will be hosted at our data center.
We can also contact the party in charge of your current
domain name for you, and have them associate a new internet
protocol number to your existing domain name. Either way,
the result is a seamless behind the scenes redirect to your
new web site, using your old web address.
Q. Can we have a new web site address, but still have our
old/existing web address point to our new site?
A. Yes. We can provide you with a new web address for your
new site and also set up your old/existing web address to
direct people to your new web site.
